The room is clean
The staff is really helpful.
But it's hard to wait for the laundry because many people using it.
And it takes some minutes to go back to the louder streets.
But it's fine if you get used to it and know the directions.
For transport, this hotel is closer to two different subways. It should be easy to travel to places like arashiyama or somewhere further.
The price is also really affordable, good price for center of kyoto.

Comfortable stay with an impressive terrace on roof top where you can chill out with the view of Kyoto while soaking your feet, so comfy! Bar time in the evening at the terrace. Small hot bath area yet peaceful ambience.
Small room but well equipped. They suggest to store the luggage under the bed but personally found that it isn't practical for big luggage. Otherwise the mattress is comfortable and the provided amenities are all fine for the stay.
Good location even department stores, shops, restaurants, public transportation, attractions, Gion and etc are in walking distance but still silent enough and I had a good stay here. Also taxi stop is just right in front of the hotel entrance.
Luggage can be store after check out but please check with the time for picking up with the staff.

The hotel is close to Karasuma-oike station. However, if you have a luggage, it is easier to exit by elevator from Exit 5 and cross the road to the hotel.
The rooms are clean and comfortable. Space is decent for a family of 3.
We also liked that they have a common place at the lobby where we can eat or snack. They also offer coffee, water and other amenities (toothbrush, cotton buds, face wash etc) too.

We were astonished by how close the hotel towards the Kawaramachi, Gion and subway areas, making it super convenient to visit all foodie and sight seeing places. It looks very clean, the staff are super friendly and came all the way to assist us sending back our shopping to Tokyo. If you would make Kyoto your base to see the neighbourhood like Nara, Uji etc, highly recommended this hotel location

really good location (can just take bus to Kiyomizu-dera and Kawaramachi-dori shopping area, have 2 train lines nearby - hankyu kyoto line and karasuma subway line, family mart is just across the street)
breakfast was okay but quite little choices given the price was slightly higher than my osaka hotel 🙂… but the room was super clean and spacious for two people! highly recommended 👍🏻

Hotel location is good but direction instruction to hotel isn't clear. We walked & dragged our baggage thru stairway from train station.
1. Location convenient. To popular tourist IG places need to walk 20mins
2. Food available nearby & mall.
3. Room enough tk sleep with small space to leave your baggage standing.
4. Very basic room.
Comfy to sleep, not too noisy. Thank you.

Let me talk about the size of the room first. Compared with the average Japanese business traveler, this room can be described as super comfortable. There is no sense of oppression. The room facilities are all well equipped, and there should be some, because we go in winter, and there is also a big terrace. Warm stickers are provided, but we just happened to have prepared ourselves so we didn’t take the position. It was in the middle of the Shijo and Wujo stations. If you are pulling luggage, you should pay attention to which exit has an elevator, or you will have to go up the stairs yourself.

The landlord’s Chinese communication barrier-free environment: two floors, two bathrooms and one bathroom. The layout is very careful and the place is large. The tatami bed, kitchen and toilet facilities are complete, including hand sanitizer, seasonings, detergent, oven, Induction cooker, rice cooker. Transportation: The location is not very convenient. I only found it after walking through several alleys. I was still helped by a Japanese uncle. The positioning was not accurate enough. It is recommended that the host can draw a picture for the guests to make it more convenient. The family is very satisfied, the price is good, and the host also gave red wine!

This location is perfect I would say, walking distance away from the main shijo street. There's a bus stop outside hotel whereby you can go anywhere with it . Family Mart is few steps away.
Cleanliness is on point other than the room is small. But generally all Japan room is small unless u pay more for it.

GGuest UserWe stayed for 1 night at the Royal Park hotel to explore Kyoto, where is very convenient location, right off walking distance from RJ train line. We are very impressed the spaciousness and cleanness of the room. We didn’t have enough time to dine in the restaurant and other facilities the hotel has to offer. We came early and the front desk staff are very polite and attentive to assist us with the luggages and directed us to a Michelleen ramen place a few blocks away.

MMohaweiliuhaoyouchaFacilities: Very good, the lobby is on the third floor, the restaurant and the lounge area are connected, the hotel laundry room and dryer are also available, and the bathroom conditions are also good; the only problem is that I didn't find bath salts in the self-service area (other Richmonds, such as the Richmond Premium in the Skytree, have them), and I didn't find the refrigerator. I don't know if I neglected it.
Hygiene: Very good, basically nothing to complain about
Environment: Very good, both the lobby and the interior layout and decoration of the room are very new, very distinctive, and comfortable to look at
Service: The service is warm and thoughtful, and the hotel staff will take the initiative to provide drinks and snacks, which is good
Meals: Breakfast is 3,850 yen per adult. Although the price is high, it is worth the money. The ingredients are of good quality and diverse. In addition, the hotel has free drinks and snacks from afternoon to 9 pm, and free alcohol from 5 pm to 8 pm (I didn't enjoy it this time due to time conflicts). It is recommended to choose a reservation with meals. If you want to have brunch, it is highly recommended to try

AArtemis5403The initial checkin staff should have inform us that check in can be earlier if you pay the hour difference. Was having high fever n made to walk around the nearby mall waiting for 3pm. When returned to hotel at 2pm then another counter staff told us to pay 1000yen to check in earlier.

AAnonymous UserThe experience was great, the hotel was in a great location right across from Kyoto Station and the hotel room was very large and quiet, recommended!
Exit 1/2 of the underground street is connected to the building, take the elevator to the 1st floor, go out and turn left facing Kyoto Station, then turn left a few steps to the hotel. If it's raining you can consider walking without having to walk on the ground.
The following are areas that the hotel can improve/you can pay attention to:
(1) When booking on the Trip.com app it showed that I had to pay 400yen (2 nights) occupancy tax at the hotel, but I was charged 1000yen when I checked in. For some reason, the staff couldn’t explain it and I ended up being given 1000yen. I don't know what went wrong, I hope the trip.com app is the same as the hotel charges next time.
(2) The hotel double bed has one side of the recessed quite important, only to sleep on the other side.
(3) This point please the hotel must change it! ! I slept relatively late the last night at the hotel, at one or two in the morning. But falling asleep soon after being woken up by the sound, like a sound in the room (the sound of objects moving), and someone wanting to open the door, scared me all the way to sleep, after a long time too tired to sleep. Early found a card by the door, in the handwritten heart card or something, reminding of the unknown sound at night 😑 Hotel next time do not take cards so late into the room 😵💫

TTanya lauIf you are a traveller like us who would like some more privacy, this place is not exactly for you. Don't get me wrong, the hotel staff are absolutely wonderful. Just that most things are communal and you have wait for your turn to shower and finish by 11.35. The walls are quite thin indeed, you can easily hear people walking on the hallway or simply chatting in their rooms.

AAnonymous UserIt is not recommended for guests with more luggage or large boxes: First, because the homestay is located in the scenic area of two years and three years, tourists are like weaving during the day, and taxis can't get in at all. You need to drag your suitcase and walk a long uphill and downhill stone road and steps to find a place to live; Second, it is because it is difficult to call the car after checking out. You need to drag your suitcase through the woven stone street to the main road far away to take a taxi... Of course, for guests who have no luggage or less luggage, you may wish to experience the feeling of an old room for one night.

GGuest UserThis hotel was very good budget option. The location is great, close to restaurants and pretty ideal for shopping. The bus stops are close at hand and subway is close at hand. The money-reward ratio is good. I didn´t like that they do not do cleaning for any rooms with stays shorter than 4 nights - they don´t even take out the trash - which I missed and which tends to acumulate if you stay for 3 nights as we did. Also beware of the corner rooms - this might mean that one of your walls is a corridor wall and the room might be a bit noisy. The hotel gives you an option to indicate that you don´t want this kind of room. I´ve said I didn´t mind corner room, got one, and it didn´t bother us, besides one morning when the housekeeping hit our corridor wall with some trolley. But if this might sorry you, watch out for the cornier room. But otherwise fine. For the money I really am not complaining. Generally speaking I was quite happy with the hotel.

ААлександрI lived here one night. Good middle-budget hotel, the downsides have not noticed, but the staff knows the most basic English for receptacle, like check in, check out, where the room, etc.
Of the pluses:
”As it is written in the hotel name there is a small inner garden.
”It is with one of the most popular sights of Kyoto Fusim Inari
